I'm a tutor who is based out of Albany, New York, where I enjoy spending time with my two young sons when I'm not working with students. I have my bachelor of arts degree from SUNY Oneonta, and am a certified elementary education teacher. I also have my master's degree from SUNY Albany with certifications in special education and literacy. I've been working as an elementary school teacher for the last seven years. I wholeheartedly love my job and the adventures that every day brings. I love working with my students, as well. There's nothing quite like the feeling I get when I help a student finally achieve a breakthrough in an area that they've been struggling with for awhile. I also have experience working with special education students. As a teacher, I deeply understand the educational process. I know the rigor and stress that standardized tests can bring. That's why I work with my students to identify their weaknesses and then help them overcome those weaknesses through targeted practice exercises. I strive to keep my lessons fun and engaging to ensure that the student enjoys their time with me, and I would be honored to work with you to help you find success.
